Senior Home Care Services

We Respond with Loving Kindness and Care

No one can take the place of a spouse, son, daughter or close relative in a family relationship. There are occasions when a relative cannot act as a full-time caregiver when the need arises. Other important responsibilities or the constant stress of the situation can be too difficult to manage over the long term, leading to further problems for the family caregiver.

We understand your concerns during this difficult time.  It can be very frightening, lonely, frustrating and discouraging. Sometimes even close relatives can’t provide the support, companionship and understanding that a professional can. There is no need to do it alone. Let Loving Kindness and Care work with you to manage the daily activities of your loved one, so you are free to enjoy the good times with them.

We Provide Peace of Mind

If family members do not live in the immediate area, Loving Kindness and Care is your best option. Today, unfortunately, there are many home care providers who are in it only for the job, and some even prey on the elderly, homebound, and disabled for their own gain. There are many examples in the news today of dishonest people who physically or mentally abuse or steal from those receiving in-home care services. Some unscrupulous people have even gone so far as to coerce the homebound into assigning the caregiver power of attorney over their affairs. These examples make those in need fearful and apprehensive. Read our testimonials and check our references, so you can have peace of mind.

We are Experienced Professionals

To us, caregiving at home isn’t just a job. It is what we enjoy doing. It’s our passion. Many of our caregivers have more than 20 years of work experience devoted to helping others. This longevity in the business of home care can only be achieved through a lifelong dedication to helping people, establishing trust over long periods of time and providing superior service.

Our mission is to provide loving and professional non-medical home care services to our clients, always giving them the dignity and respect they deserve.  We provide confidential and cost effective services tailored to each person’s specific needs.  Our experience is the key to our success.

We Devolop a Personalized Care Plan

We provide a free initial interview to assess your needs, determine what you can expect from us and how we can best serve you. Loving Kindness and Care staff then develop a personal needs assessment. We determine the time we expect to allot for each service and the charges for each service. All costs and services will be clearly defined and approved in advance by the client and our staff before services are rendered. There will be no hidden costs!

Loving Kindness and Care will work with you to set up an in-home care plan to ensure that the needs of the individual are fully met in the comfort of their own home.  Whether this is a temporary situation, such as recovering from an accident or illness, or a long-term care need due to aging or disability, we will be there to guide, assist and advise.  We will also provide services that protect the independence and active lifestyle of the individual, while respecting the person and their dignity.  We seek to add value to the lives of others through trust, companionship and a sense of pride that comes with living a meaningful life.

You are in Charge

Because we are a non-medical agency and not a nursing agency, Loving Kindness and Care will not stipulate to you when to wake up, when to bathe, or when to eat.

We will adjust to your schedule so you can be as comfortable as possible in your home.

How to Pay for Home Care

We consider our services to be of the highest quality and the best that money can buy. Nevertheless, we believe that no one should be denied services solely because of an inability to pay. We can help you evaluate the costs for services.  In some cases, there are local community resources such as churches, synagogues, businesses and/or private parties that may help defer some of your expenses. We will work with you to determine the best approach given your unique circumstances.

All of our caregivers have professional liability insurance.

Home Care Assistance can be provided for varying time periods, from as little as 3-hours  to 24-hours of care, 7 days a week.
