Pickup and Delivery Services

We, at Loving Kindness and Care, feel our pickup and delivery service is unique to the home care industry.  Home care services are not relegated to the home only.  The services apply to the care and needs of the individual, wherever they may be.

Many of our clients want to be on the go.  They enjoy getting out for appointments, errands, and trips to the beauty parlor, or lunch at a neighborhood restaurant.  Our staff will assist them in getting ready for a trip.  They will then accompany them to and from the destination, getting them back home safely.

When our clients can’t get out themselves we will provide a means for getting them what they need, without them leaving the comfort of their home. Whether it requires a trip to the local grocery or drug store, or the mall to pick up a specific item, we can assist our clients without them being present.

This service is designed for our established clients and is provided when it can improve the overall home care condition. Our support staff, who are well acquainted with the client, will, on a regularly prescribed basis, purchase items or accomplish tasks outside the home from an authorized, itemized list. This list is signed and agreed upon by the client and Loving Kindness and Care management in advance. This could be anything requested by the client that provides for an enhanced quality of life for them.

Pickup and Delivery Services include, but are not limited to the following:

• Mailing bills and letters
• Buying magazines, papers and books
• Renting items needed by client
• Dropping off and picking up dry cleaning
• Shopping for groceries, supplies, and prescriptions
• Attending plays, concerts, religious services, worksshops, etc.
• Escorting friends and relatives to client’s home
• Assisting with airport tasks
• Picking up walkers, toilet seats, shower chairs or medical supplies, etc.
• Providing scheduled transportation to and from hospitals or clinics in non-emergency situations
